Nude Food Campaign

As part of our efforts to support environmental sustainability and healthy eating, we encourage all students and parents to pack healthy rubbish-free lunches to eliminate all unnecessary packaging (wrappers, plastics and foils) that go into schools. The Nude Food message, 'Healthy Body + Healthy Planet',  aims to educate and encourage Aussies of all ages and stages to better their health, as well as the health of our planet.

To minimise rubbish in our yard and keep our play spaces clean and safe, we will be running a Nude Food Campaign this term, encouraging students to bring a package-free lunchbox to school and ensuring that food brought outside is rubbish-free. Whilst we already have our school tokens based on the school values, we are introducing Environment Tokens this term for students who bring a rubbish-free lunch box as well as students who are spotted eating rubbish-free food in the yard. Tokens will then be placed in the collective class jars and the class with the most tokens over a two week period will receive a class reward. This initiative will be introduced to students this coming Monday with the opportunity for multiple classes to be rewarded across the term.

We value your support in helping us with keeping our learning and play spaces free of rubbish!
