Congratulations to our students for their outstanding performance in the recent Education Perfect ANZ Maths Championship! We are proud to announce that our school ranked 28th globally out of 1,535 schools, a remarkable achievement. The Education Perfect ANZ Maths Championship is an online competition where students from Australia and New Zealand challenge themselves to solve a variety of mathematical problems, sharpening their skills and competing for top rankings. Special recognition goes to Lily P, Bailey C, and Leon K from Year 7, and Ezra P from Year 8, who all earned "Emerald" ranking, the second highest possible in the competition. Well done to all participants!

Maths in Action

Some of our Year 7 and 8 students have been putting their measurement skills to the test in a hands-on learning experience! As part of their study of measurement, they recently took their knowledge beyond the classroom, heading outside to estimate the perimeters and areas of various objects and spaces. This practical application of their studies not only reinforced their understanding of key concepts but also allowed them to see the real-world relevance of mathematics in action.
