Update from the SRC 

The SRC looked at a formatted version of the suggested staff responses they developed to 'Stop, Walk, Talk' today. There was enthusiasm towards printing and laminating it as a card for staff to carry, particularly on yard duty. The senior SRC members also asked if they could carry a copy so they can support students and staff. The SRC will present the cards to staff at an upcoming assembly.

We also spoke about how we celebrate success across the school. The Juniors are still happy with raffles tickets/shields for the raffle and then choosing from the prize box. 

The Seniors were after something else. The 'hot lunch', at the end of each term, hasn't quite got the vibe it used to. The Senior staff suggested the students gain a snack pack of goodies after receiving 5 commendations that are presented at assembly. This didn't quite meet the SRC expectations of the students. The SRC are keen to try Mystery Lunch. When a student gains 5 commendations they get an invitation to have lunch with Mr P, Mr Bacon and Mrs Nicholson. The menu will be a mystery to the students.
