Catch Up Photos:

Recently, Heidi competed in the Auckland Primary and Intermediate School Diving Champs. The girls' group had 26 primary school divers, and Heidi took third place! Last year, in the same event, Heidi placed 6th out of a field of 23.

Hopefully, Heidi will get invited to compete in Australia next year - if all goes well!  🙂

Christmas in Room 30:

Hi all from the amazing kids of Room 30

We've been busy creating magic; kiddies wanted to get a Crack on with Xmas, so we thought, why not? It's never too early.

We started with a brainstorm, with each sharing their ideas on what they wanted to make.

Seqkrit asked for a tree - green like the Grinch, Rhythm wanted to make a Wishing star, especially for his sister Unique, as it's nearly her birthday, while Siaa, Shivay, Hayzahley and Anumpta were happy to paint their own stockings and play with the white fluff - giggling as they would rub the soft fluff against their faces and Hayzahley squealing Kitty Cat. Casin, the artist, came up with the brilliant idea of flicking water paints on his tree to look like twinkling Christmas lights. Brady was so proud of his stocking, holding it up for everyone to see, even completing it all himself.

There was so much colour, glitter, fun and Christmas joy all around.

Have a great day from the Room 30 Elves.

EPro8 Success:

We had two teams compete at the Epro8 Regional Champs.

The Cheeseburgers Cyrus, Joshua D, Keerati, and Wayne worked super hard but didn’t place.

The Hello Kitty team, Oisin, Cooper, Oscar, and Joshua W. placed 1st equal, thus qualifying for the semi-final in December. Coach Teresa Hannard is extremely proud of both teams!

Junior School MOTAT Visit:

I was proud to see teacher Jessie Eyre's 'Piki te Ora' book on display at Pages Bookshop in Tauranga.

It also was selected as a Notable Non-fiction book by the Te Whare Waituhi Tamariki Storylines Trust.
