Loddon Mallee Regional Athletics Carnival.
On Thursday, 9th October, Charlie Burke, Evie Donnellon, Layla Griffiths, Hugo Funcke, Jam Borden and Mrs Griffiths travelled to Bendigo to compete in the Loddon Mallee Regional Athletics Carnival. The conditions were almost perfect for athletics, although it was a little chilly whenever the sun went behind the clouds.
Layla Griffiths finished second in the 14 Girls’ 400m, Hugo Funcke placed third in the 15 Boys’ High Jump, and Charlie Burke came third in the 16 Boys’ Javelin event.
All students did a fantastic job reaching this level and represented the school admirably.
