Principal's Report

As Term 3 comes to an end at Glen Innes High School, I would like to thank our staff, students, and families for their ongoing support and effort. It has been another busy and successful term, filled with many achievements and celebrations.
The Valedictory Ceremony was a true highlight, where we celebrated our Year 12 students and their outstanding achievements throughout their schooling journey. We wish them all the very best as they take their next steps beyond high school.
To our Year 12 students, we also extend our very best wishes as you prepare for your upcoming HSC exams. Please ensure you have logged into Students Online and accessed your personal exam timetable, so you are fully prepared. Remember to bring your ID card with your student number with you to every exam.
Year 11 students also completed their end-of-course exams with commitment and focus. It was pleasing to see the confidence many felt in their performance – a strong foundation as they move into their final year of schooling.
Our students shone on the sporting field this term. Congratulations to everyone who represented the school across a range of events. A special mention to Kayden Elliott, who achieved outstanding results in cross country and athletics, qualifying for Nationals – an incredible achievement.
We also celebrate the achievements of George Chard and Greg Seiber, who received ‘Shape 2025’ nominations for their Industrial Technology Metals Projects. This recognition reflects their talent, creativity, and hard work.
Students who attended the Wet’n’Wild trip had a fantastic time. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the conclusion of their school journey together, build friendships, and enjoy a well-deserved day out.
A reminder that hoodies are not part of the school uniform and students are expected to wear the school uniform jumper. We appreciate the continued support of parents and carers in ensuring students follow our uniform policy.
On behalf of the school, I wish all students, staff, and families a safe and happy holiday break. Enjoy your time to relax and recharge. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term ahead.
