Wominjeka Everyone,

IMPORTANT DATES:

Student-Free Day – OSHC Program

We are planning to offer an All Day OSHC program on the upcoming student-free day, pending sufficient bookings.

For the program to go ahead, we must meet minimum booking numbers to ensure it is viable to operate. Therefore, it is essential that families book as soon as possible.

🗓 Booking deadline: Friday, 22 May

📢 Program confirmation: Monday, 25 May

If we do not receive enough bookings by the deadline, the All Day OSHC program may not run.

💲 Cost: $95 per day (before CCS)

🥣 Included: Breakfast and afternoon tea

🍱 Not included: Lunch and morning tea

We encourage families to secure their place early to avoid disappointment and to support us in making this program possible.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

School Holiday Program – June/July

We are excited to share our upcoming June/July School Holiday Program—please see the attached flyer for a full overview of planned activities.

Please note that the program is subject to confirmation, and some activities may change.

📩 Bookings: To secure your child’s place, please email oshcholiday@brunswick.vic.edu.au(We are unable to accept bookings through the app for the holiday program, as we need to closely monitor numbers to ensure we do not exceed capacity.)

🎬 Excursion Update: Our movie excursion (Thursday 2/7) will be Toy Story 5, which is rated PG.

We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Thank you for your understanding and support—we look forward to a fun and engaging holiday program!

Parent & Carer Code of Conduct – Reminder

A big thank you to all the parents and carers who have already taken the time to read and acknowledge our updated Code of Conduct—we really appreciate your support.

As a reminder, an email was sent last week (Thursday 30/4) with the Code of Conduct attached, along with a link to confirm that you have read and understood it.

If you haven’t had a chance yet, please take a few minutes to review the document and complete the acknowledgement. This is an important step in helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all children, families, and staff.

So far, we’ve had 69 responses—only a few hundred to go! 😄

Thank you again for your time and cooperation.

💳 Child Care Subsidy (CCS) – Important Reminder

Thank you to all families who have been reaching out and taking steps to review and update their Child Care Subsidy (CCS) arrangements—we appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

We kindly remind all families to regularly check their statements to ensure CCS is being applied correctly. We have noticed that some families are currently not receiving CCS, which may be due to:

  • Enrolments not being successfully confirmed through Centrelink, or
  • CCS entitlement not yet approved or updated by Centrelink.

To avoid unexpected out-of-pocket costs, please ensure:

  • Your CCS enrolment is confirmed via your Centrelink account, and
  • Your entitlement is active and up to date.

We also recommend setting up a payment method to manage any gap fees. Alternatively, payments can be made through the app using “Pay Day Now.”

If you have any questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
