Dear Families,

I just wanted to remind you that we are now less than a week away from the launch of Route 154, which will commence operating this Sunday, 7th December, 2025.

This new route has been a long time coming, and I want to thank you for your patience as we've worked to deliver this new bus connection between Tarneit and Laverton Stations, via Truganina and the Laverton North industrial precinct. I know you're just as excited as I am!

The very first service of the 154 will depart from Tarneit Station at 6:05am on Sunday morning, with buses stopping every 20 minutes throughout the day until 11pm. You can check the timetable online at transport.vic.gov.au, by using the PTV app or calling 1800 800 007, to plan your journey on this bus accordingly.

In addition to the 154, other new bus upgrades, such as the frequency uplift on the 153 from Williams Landing Station to Werribee Station via the Princes Highway, and the new 194 bus that will travel through Harpley Estate in Werribee, will also commence on Sunday as well.

I look forward to seeing the buses on our roads this Sunday.

Altona Sports Centre - 2026 Lanard Copeland Summer Holiday Basketball Camp

Suns out, hoops up!

Level up your skills and your summer with Lanard Copeland at the Summer Holiday Basketball Camp!

Early-bird bookings made before 5th January 2026 will go into the draw to win a Nike Dunk x Lego set!

This summer, bring the heat! Basketball drills and games are for all levels, previous experience is not essential as children are grouped according to their age. This camp will focus on the fundamental skills of basketball – shooting, defense, and ball-handling – taught by our experienced coaches in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment!

The Camp is a 2 day event running on:

Monday 19th January 2026: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Tuesday 20th January 2026: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Please note your ticket is valid for BOTH days.

Price: $170.00 per participant

Ages: 5 – 16 years

Please bring: Lunch, water, a basketball and some snacks!

There will be prizes and giveaways over the course of the camp and the Canteen will also be open so bring some money with you for a treat!
