Year 11 & 12 TCE Classes

The final day for all TCE classes will be Thursday 29 October.  All students are required to attend their lessons until the end of Period 6 on this final day.  SWOT VAC commences on Monday 2 November, with TASC external examinations commencing the following week on Monday 9 November.  Examinations will run for two weeks.  During this time the Library will be open for study.  Year 11 IB classes will continue as normal.

Year 12 Final Weeks

To celebrate the end of Year 12, we have a few planned activities for students, as their time at The Friends’ School draws to a close.

There will be a couple of themed free dress days in the final week of TCE classes on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October.  Food vans have been arranged on Thursday 29 October, together with a colour run at lunch-time on the Bottom Green, to celebrate the final day of TCE classes.  A morning tea will then be held on Friday 30 October commencing at 10.30am, followed by some mock awards from peers and a final Year 12 Gathering.

Attendance on Friday morning is optional.  We look forward to celebrating these final days with Year 12 students before they embark upon their external examinations.  The Year 12 Leavers’ Assembly will be held after this time on Monday 23 November in The Farrall Centre to which all students and their families are invited.
