Returning to school for term 4; our students have continued to engage in meaningful learning experiences, develop their skills and build connections across our school and wider community. Students in primary 2, Secondary and Senior Secondary have been out on the school bus for various programs from travel training to interschool sports.
This term includes several important events, SSG meetings in week 5 to recognise and celebrate learning growth made second semester, primary and Senior Secondary graduation ceremonies, and our community event, Showcase and Shine, where we look forward to collaboratively celebrating the Communication skills, achievements and contributions of our students. In December, students will participate in two transition sessions to help them become familiar with their new classrooms, teachers and routines as we prepare for the 2027 school year.
Our Showcase and Shine event will take place in Week 9 on Wednesday 2 December, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

This special evening brings our whole school community together to celebrate our students’ learning and achievements. This year’s focus is celebrating our learning in Communication.
We would love to see many family members and friends attend and encourage you to save this date in your calendar.
Further details will be shared with families once the planning committee has finalised arrangements.
We look forward to coming together as a community to celebrate the wonderful learning taking place across our school.

We’d love your help with our Showcase and Shine raffle!
We’re hoping to put together 4–5 raffle prizes or gift baskets for our Showcase & Shine event. The raffle draw is a lovely way to bring everyone together and finish the evening on a high note!
If you or someone you know could donate new, unused items, gift vouchers or other goodies for the baskets, we would be very grateful.
Please bring donations to the front office by Friday 20th November.
Thank you for helping make our celebration extra special!

We hope you are enjoying receiving student and class updates, as well as photos from your child's classroom teacher, through Compass.
If you are experiencing difficulty logging in to Compass, please contact the school office staff, who can reset your password for you. Alternatively, if you would like general assistance using Compass, please speak with your classroom teacher or a school leader, who will be happy to help.
Families are also welcome to visit the Anderson Community Room and use a school computer to access Compass. If you would like to use a school laptop while at school, please speak with our front office staff, and they will be happy to assist.
As we continue to adopt our new communication model, we welcome your feedback and suggestions. Your input is valued and will help us continue to improve our communication with families.

As you may be aware, our school photo company, The School Photographer visited earlier in Term 3 to take student and class photos.
We have been liaising with the company to determine when photo orders will arrive at school. We have been advised that the company is currently implementing a new processing system, which has resulted in some delays. However, we have been reassured that the photos should not be too far away.
We will continue to keep families informed of any updates regarding their arrival.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we await delivery of the photos.
