Special Person’s/Mother’s Day Stall
We hope you all had an amazing Mother’s Day weekend celebrating with all the wonderful people in your lives.
Some of you may have even received a gift from our Mother’s Day stall!
What a fantastic morning it was. The children were so eager to see what special gifts they could choose for the important people in their lives. They were choosing very carefully and adding up the money of each gift as they perused the stall.
A massive shout out to all the people who volunteered their time with both helping at the stall and donating gifts to make this year so successful.
We couldn’t have done it without you.
We are always blown away with the generosity of our families and community. THANK YOU
All money raised from the event will go towards improvements to our school.
Mother’s Day/ Special Person’s Breakfast
On Friday 9th May we held our much-anticipated Mother’s Day/ Special Person’s Breakfast in the hall. Families could pre-order food and drink and select to attend at either 7:30/8:00 or 8:30am.
We had 100 families attend and it was a beautiful sight to see children sitting with their mums, grandmothers and other special people, enjoying breakfast, watching the slideshow in the hall and seeing the choir perform.
We are in a unique position to be able to have the hospitality students from Bundoora Secondary College be able to make coffees, hot chocolates and poffertjes for us! They made over 130 plates of poffertjes and we are very grateful to have them be part of these events.
Also thank you to the parents and staff who volunteered their time on the day- Nathan, Trent, Grant, Leigh, Jordan, Reuben, Ms Dean, Miss Mitchell-Hill, Mrs Bruce, Miss T, Mrs Dunn and Ms Strath. Also, to the mums who helped in the lead up to the event- these events are not possible without your ideas and meticulous planning!
We hope you all had a lovely breakfast and Mother’s Day to those who celebrated.
