Congratulations to our Year 9 Health & Human Development students, who completed their first aid training with Vitality First Aid Solutions this week.
This engaging and practical training session helps build confidence in emergency response and equips our students with essential lifesaving skills including CPR, wound care and how to respond in a medical emergency. Well done, boys!
The College has invested in a new mobile app to provide easy access to the Parent Access Module (PAM) and other information about your son/s schooling.
SIMON Everywhere delivers all the functionality of PAM in a mobile app, as well as quick links to the College calendar, website, social media pages, Dobsons (uniform) and more!
Key documents such as the 2025 Booklists and Canteen price list can also be found on SIMON Everywhere under a handy folder called 'Parent Docs'.
To learn more about SIMON Everywhere, which replaces our SPC app by Digistorm, please read through the how-to guide below. We encourage all parents and caregivers to download the new Simon Everywhere app and delete the SPC app as it is no longer supported or functional.
Promote your business to our huge SPC community by advertising in our 2025 SPC Shamrock magazine. Published in June and December, quarter-page packages for both editions start at $300 or take up full-page advertising for as little as $500. Consider this affordable way to promote your business and SPC ties to a wider audience. We are currently planning our June edition, so get in touch with us by contacting Lorrie Liston on 5322 4442 or via email at lliston@stpats.vic.edu.au . Bookings close on 9 May, 2025.
We remind all families of the importance of notifying the school if your child sustains a concussion outside of school hours. It is essential that we are made aware as soon as possible, even if the injury occurs during a weekend, holiday or after-school activity.
Concussions can significantly affect a student’s ability to concentrate, participate in class, and safely engage in physical activities. Prompt communication allows us to provide the appropriate academic support, monitor their recovery, and implement necessary accommodations in line with medical advice.
If your child is diagnosed with a concussion, please inform the school nurse or administration promptly through the concussion reporting form in PAM (Parent Access Module). Your cooperation helps ensure your child's health, safety and academic success.
A reminder that all students are required to wear the full winter uniform in Terms 2 and 3. Dobsons is open 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday with the exception of Wednesdays when it is closed, and 9am-12pm on Saturdays. Dobsons also offers free Click and Collect orders, with delivery to school on Fridays (during school terms). Please use the 'Notes' section when completing your Click and Collect order to specify school delivery.
Don't forget to register for our Mother's Day Mass & Breakfast on Friday, 9 May. The morning will begin with Mass in the College Chapel at 7am before heading into the Performing Arts Centre for breakfast.
We warmly invite all mums and mother figures to join us for a beautiful morning to celebrate and give thanks for the incredible women in our lives.
Have you captured some great moments from our boys' co-curricular activities? We'd love to see your photos! Whether it's from sport, music, drama or another co-curricular event, please share them with us to help showcase the incredible efforts of our students.
Send your photos to our College Publications Officer Katie Spurgo via email: kspurgo@stpats.vic.edu.au Thank you for your support!
