From the Principal

As we wrap up Term 1, I’d like to say what a great start to the year it has been at Moonie State School. Our students have settled back into routines very well and shown lots of enthusiasm for their learning.

This term we’ve enjoyed welcoming a number of visitors to our school. It’s been wonderful to open our doors and share the amazing things happening in our classrooms, while also strengthening connections with our wider school and cluster communities.

Our students have also taken part in excursions to other cluster schools, giving them the chance to meet new friends, learn alongside others, and experience different school environments. They represented Moonie State School proudly, and we are very proud of the way they conducted themselves.

Thank you to our staff for their commitment and hard work this term, and to our families for your continued support. I hope everyone enjoys a well‑earned break and I look forward to seeing everyone back refreshed and ready for Term 2.
