Surfside Primary School Fresh Food Fair
Friday 7th November, 3:15-7:30pm
The Surfside Primary School community invites everyone to our much-anticipated Fresh Food Fair on Friday, November 7th, 2025, from 3:15 to 7:30 p.m.
The Fresh Food Fair is the highlight of the Surfside Primary calendar—a festive evening of food, music, student class market stalls, rides and much more.
Join us for a delightful afternoon tea featuring our traditional cake stall, the whimsical Madd Hatter’s Tea Party, and an array of sweet treats — from cupcakes and milkshakes to popcorn, chocolates, and lollies.
Our talented students and dedicated volunteers have been cooking up a delicious menu that includes cookies, sausage rolls, soups, potato and kale pastries, curries, flatbreads and dumplings.
Be entertained by the amazing Surfside Primary School band, along with performances from Agency Black, Caught in the Crossfire, Ange Rogers, The Foundation Fab Four, and Mr Morzinek and friends and our always-popular Surfside’s Got Talent showcase.
The Surfside Primary School Fresh Food Fair is more than just a fundraiser — it’s the biggest event on our school calendar. This celebration brings together our school and the wider community to highlight our students, our school, and our shared commitment to sustainability and local produce. Expect an evening bursting with food, music, games, market stalls, and endless fun for all ages!
Funds raised from the Fair support our award-winning Kitchen and Garden program, giving students hands-on experiences in cooking and gardening — a cornerstone of what makes Surfside Primary truly special.
Every class contributes by running its own market stall, featuring homemade curries and pastries, dumplings, milkshakes, cakes, potted plants, side-show games, lucky dips, face painting, the dunk bucket challenge, and gift stalls. Out on the oval, families can enjoy carnival rides and a petting zoo, creating a fun-filled atmosphere for everyone.
We have eftpos machines at a few stalls: The Kitchen, Canteen, BBQ, the bar, the Swifty stall and the ticket-booth.
Carnival ride tickets are available for single rides or as unlimited wristbands.
Pre-purchase wristbands at a discounted price by today (Thursday 6/11) via compass or by contacting the school office directly.
Come along tomorrow, Friday the 7th November to celebrate our community, support our students, and enjoy a night of fresh food, live music, and family fun.
We can’t wait to see you at the 2025 Surfside Primary School Fresh Food Fair!
