New Beginnings and Faithful Finishes

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” – Hebrews 10:23

As we step further into Term 4, it’s a busy but meaningful time across our school community. Students are finishing major projects, sitting exams, and reflecting on what they’ve learned this year. Amid the busyness, we’re reminded of the hope we have in Christ - a hope that keeps us steady, thankful, and prayerful.

Thank you for continuing to partner with us in prayer. Your faithfulness makes a real difference in the lives of students, families, and staff as we seek to honour God together.

Prayer Focus

Years 9–10 Christian Perspectives and Relationships (CPR)

Please pray for our Year 9 and 10 students as they continue their studies in Christian Perspectives and Relationships.

  • As they watch Heaven is For Real, pray that they would think deeply about the reality of the resurrection and the afterlife and be moved to put their faith in Jesus.
  • Pray that through the study of Philippians, students would be convicted of God’s goodness and grace shown in Jesus and be encouraged to live this out in their daily lives.
  • Pray for our teachers, that as they prepare and teach, they would be personally strengthened and inspired by the truths of God’s Word through the Holy Spirit.

Year 7 Bible Overview

Pray for our Year 7 students as they continue working through the big story of the Bible this year.

  • That they would see the Bible as God’s Word to us and understand the overarching story of His redemption through Jesus.
  • That students would be personally convicted of the truth and transformed by God’s saving grace.
  • That teachers would prepare lessons that are both engaging and challenging for the wide range of abilities and backgrounds within the class.

Year 6 Joining Secondary Assemblies

Pray for our Year 6 students as they begin attending Secondary assemblies this term. Pray that they would be encouraged by the Bible readings and talks, and that they would feel welcomed and included as part of the Secondary community.

Prayer for Seniors (HSC Exams)

Please uphold our Year 12 students as they continue their HSC exams.

  • Peace and Focus: Pray for calmness, clarity, and confidence in each exam.
  • Clarity and Recall: That they would remember their learning clearly and express it effectively.
  • Strength and Endurance: Pray for energy and perseverance throughout the exam period.
  • Guidance: Ask for God’s direction in their next steps beyond school.

Prayer for New Families

Pray for our new Kindergarten families (2026) who have begun their orientation this week.

  • That they would feel warmly welcomed into our school community.
  • That hearts would be open to hear the gospel.
  • That Christian families would take opportunities to share God’s love and message of hope with them.

All Saints Day and End-of-Year Outreach

  • As our Primary School prepares for our upcoming All Saints Day celebration, please pray that this will be a time of joy and gospel witness.
  • Pray that as many families in our community participate in Halloween activities, we would have opportunities to share the message of light and hope through our Friday Assembly and All Saints Day celebration.
  • Pray for our staff team as they begin preparing to share the good news of Jesus through our Christmas events.
  • In the busyness of this term, pray that we will communicate clearly the love of Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas to our school community.

Thank You for Praying

Your prayers are a vital part of our school’s ministry. Each time you pray, you are joining with us in shaping a Christ-centred community where students can grow in faith, knowledge, and love.
