🤠WHAT A NIGHT! — OUR HOE DOWN ROUND-UP 🤠
Well… what a night!
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible St Joey’s community for getting behind our Hoe Down and making it such a brilliant night. With 150+ of us under one roof, there was plenty of dancing, laughing, cheering, bidding and, apparently, absolutely no desire to go home — we practically had to kick you out! 😂
The generosity and support from our community has been incredible. From buying tickets and raffle tickets, to bidding in the auctions, donating prizes, volunteering your time, helping with setup and pack-down, and simply turning up and getting amongst it — thank you.
Events like this are about so much more than raising money. They are about bringing our community together, creating friendships and having a bloody good time along the way. And Saturday night was a pretty great reminder of what a wonderful community we have.
A very special thank you also goes to the incredible local businesses and supporters who generously donated prizes, experiences, vouchers and services to our auction and raffle. Your generosity made such a huge difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your support of St Joey’s.
And finally, a massive shout-out to our amazing army of helpers. From the people who spent weeks behind the scenes organising, chasing donations and making plans, to those who turned up early, lugged gear, decorated, served, sold tickets, ran auctions, helped on the night and packed everything away — we could not have done it without you.
We’re still waiting on confirmation of the final amount raised, but whatever the final number, we already know this was a huge win for our community. 💗
