End of Year Mass and Farewell Morning Tea

The school and parish community gathered for a special End-of-Year Mass, a beautiful and meaningful celebration that marked the close of the year and turned our hearts toward the coming Christmas season. Following the Mass, a heartfelt Farewell Morning Tea was held for our beloved parish priest, Fr Curran. It was a significant occasion where staff, students, families and parishioners were able to share their best wishes, memories, and prayers for Fr Curran's future path.

Year 6 Graduation Mass:

Our school community came together to celebrate our graduating students at the Year 6 Graduation Mass. This moving ceremony focused specifically on celebrating the journey of our five graduating students, recognising the hard work, faith, and spirit they demonstrated throughout their primary years. The Mass was a beautiful time for families, teachers, and school staff to join together to pray for and acknowledge the graduates. It marked a joyous and significant milestone as the students received a special blessing before they embark on the exciting transition to high school.

Fourth Sunday of Advent

Sunday 21 December is the Third Sunday of Advent. On the Fourth Sunday of Advent we light the fourth candle on the Advent Wreath, a purple candle which we call The Angels’ Candle reminding us of the role of the angels who announced peace on earth and goodwill for all people.

A white candle in the centre of the Advent Wreath is the Christmas Candle - representing the birth of Christ the saviour which we celebrate on Christmas Day Thursday 25 December.

Christmas

On Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December we remember and celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus in Bethlehem. Jesus is the promised Saviour, the Son of God, who became human. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas, may our hearts be filled with peace and joy and the blessings of the Holy Family be with us now and always.

We wish all of our school community a happy and holy Christmas.
