JPSSA Athletics

Which was certainly the case. Congratulations to the following boys who represented Junior School with pride, demonstrating their best effort throughout the day.

Year 5 Waterwise Incursion

Our Year 5 students recently took part in an engaging Waterwise incursion with Megan from the Water Corporation. The session focused on the importance of water conservation in Western Australia and how we can all play a part in protecting this precious resource.

Students learned about the '3 P's' - the only things that should be flushed down the toilet to avoid blockages and explored simple, everyday actions to save water. These included turning off taps while brushing teeth, taking shorter showers, and watering the garden with leftover drinking water.

The interactive session helped students understand just how vital our water sources are and the role each of us can play in preserving them. Thank you to Megan and the Water Corporation for delivering such an informative and inspiring session that has empowered our students to make small changes for a big impact!

Dance and Drama Showcase

The recent Dance and Drama Showcase was a spectacular evening, highlighted by a fantastic performance from our very own Junior School BIG Dance group. The night kicked off with BIG taking the stage - complete with soccer balls, setting the tone for an energetic and entertaining program.

Audiences were then treated to a series of outstanding dance and drama pieces performed by Senior School students, giving our Junior School boys a glimpse of the exciting opportunities that await them in the Performing Arts at the College.

A special congratulations to Oscar Cambouraki, Year 6 Blue, who was recognised for his exceptional performance on the night, well done!

Year 5 Camp

Medication Handover Reminder

Our attending Camp Nurse will be on site in the Junior School Library on Monday, 15 September from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM to conduct a medication handover. This handover is specifically for Year 5 students who have prescription medication or more complex medical needs. Please ensure that all medication is clearly labelled and accompanied by any necessary instructions.

Important: The nurse will only accept medication at the handover if Consent2Go has been completed and all required medical documents have been uploaded.

Please complete this step prior to attending the handover to ensure a smooth process.

Thank you for your cooperation in supporting the health and safety of all students attending camp.

Briefing and Parent Information Session

A reminder for all Year 5 parents that the Parent Information Session will be held on Monday, 15 September at 3.30pm. The briefing will take place in the Year 5 White classroom. Whilst parents are in the information session, supervision will be provided in the Undercover Area for boys who are required to wait for their parents. All information regarding Camp and packing instructions are included in Consent2Go and will also be covered at the parent briefing.

Father’s Day Fun in 4G

We had a wonderful morning celebrating Father’s Day in 4G! The boys loved sharing a special story time with their dads before heading off on an exciting scavenger hunt around the Junior School.

Their adventure led them all the way to the Music Room, where Mrs Clarke listened to their melodies. Along the way, they cracked clever riddles and proudly shared what they’ve been learning in science this term with Mrs Saraceni. It was a joyful morning full of connection and creativity!

We have entered our Year 4 and TCEC group into the CEWA QCE Awards this year for the 'Small Tabs, Big Impact' project the boys have dedicated themselves to this year.
