Lantern Lunches
Hungry bellies became happy bellies after Kinder participated in the latest rotation of our Lantern Lunches program, which is delivered through Murphy's Café.
It was heartening to see the students widening their culinary palates as they enjoyed multiple servings of their tomato pasta, salad and garlic bread, before tucking into fresh fruit for dessert.
Café Manager, Phil Shanny's crowd-pleasing meal got the tick of approval from our Kinder foodies, with a number of students exclaiming, "Mr Shanny, can we please come live with you so you can cook for us?" Compliments to the chefs!
The Lantern Lunches continued with our Year 4 and 5 students enjoying a delicious butter chicken and papadums from Mr Shanny and the Murphy's Café team.
Some students were encouraged to broaden their tastebuds and try a dish that was a little bit new to them, with some even declaring that butter chicken was now their favourite food!
