From the Principal's Desk

Welcome back to Term Two. We hope all of our families had a safe and restful break and are feeling refreshed for the term ahead. It has been fantastic to see students return settled, happy and ready to re-engage in their learning across both campuses.
This edition of the newsletter is a short, additional release to help set our community up for the term ahead, highlight key events and invite important community consultation.
Future newsletters will be published every second Friday (fortnightly), starting Friday the 1st of May.

Seeking Community Feedback – Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy
At Banmira Specialist School, we are committed to providing an environment where all students are safe and feel safe.
Our child safety framework includes policies, codes and procedures that guide how we support and maintain the safety and wellbeing of our students and protect them from harm. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we are currently reviewing our Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy to ensure it remains up-to-date and effective.
Our students and families are important partners in this work. We welcome your feedback and ideas on how we can continue to strengthen our approach to child safety and wellbeing.
We invite families and members of our community to review the policy and provide feedback via the link included below. Feedback will be considered as part of the review process, with the final version to be endorsed by School Council and published on our website.
Check out our Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy following the link below.
