YEAR 4 CAMP

Our Year 4 ADANAC Camp was a G.R.E.A.T success. Our camp team (staff and students) enjoyed some awesome weather and of course the fun and adventurous experiences and opportunities camps provide. This camp has awesome facilities and awesome food. The highlights for me were the new laser tag activity they have invested in along with aqua-ponding and of course the waterslide!

Camps provide our students with a wonderful opportunity to try new things and challenge themselves. It might be having a go on the zipline and facing a fear of heights, working with a group of peers to complete a range of initiative activities like hut building, involving leadership and teamwork or even simply being able to meet new friends or broaden a friendship group.

We were incredibly proud of the way our students represented Greenhills. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and care for one another helped make camp such a positive experience. Well done, Year 4’s you showed what it means to be G.R.E.A.T.!

These opportunities are only organised thanks to the dedication and commitment of our staff. Many thanks to Tracey Watts for her organisation of the camp and thank you to the staff who attended: Joshua Hick, Josephine Ciancio, Charlotte Tomada, Sophie Cartelli, Brad Ryan, Jordan Daley, Karen Porter, Mia Pavlovski and our parent helper Jess Kent.

WE WANT OUR SCHOOL TO BE A BRAVE SPACE

The question for this week is about Learning from mistakes:

What mistake helped you learn something this week?

Asking for help: When did you ask for help this week, and how did it help you move forward?
