The topic for the remainder of Term 3 is “help seeking”.
Children can experience all kinds of challenges as they grow and develop. The help-seeking behaviours of children are fundamental to their mental health and wellbeing. It is important to work with students to make sure they are aware of help-seeking avenues and are confident to seek help from an appropriate source when needed.
To support student learning in this topic at home, you can discuss the following scenarios and determine how other students can help and who to go to for help in these situations.

In the coming weeks, we will launch our second value, Resilience. We are working to develop a common definition of resilience to present to the school. Students will work with their grades on numerous activities to further develop their understandings of resilience and how this can be developed through intentional practice.
