Congrats Blues and Caleb:

Last weekend, the Blues won the Super Rugby title for the first time in 21 years. They beat the Chiefs quite comprehensively. As Harrison reminded me, I did call them as the finalists right back at the start of the year—at a Whānau Time. 

As a lifelong Crusaders fan a lot of our senior boys felt it was important to let me know the Blues won - and then remind me, over and over and over and over. It was a long week!

At one point, I returned to my office to find the boys had nipped in to festoon it with Blues flags - so thoughtful of them!

On a Western Heights note, it was pretty awesome to see Caleb score a hat trick of tries - and then make Scott Robertson's first All Black squad to play England very soon.
