Drop Zone Reminder:

I was out doing Crossing Duty each day last week and, unfortunately, I saw many frustrating driver choices.

Please don't stop at the bottom of the drop zone to drop off children.

Please don't park on the yellow lines at the start of the drop zone.

Please don't double park in the drop zone, then get out and leave your car unattended.

Please don't speed through the drop zone.

These requests are made to keep children safe and traffic flowing. Often, those poor choices listed above cause traffic snarls on Sturges Road, which can put pedestrians at risk and cause serious driver frustrations, which in turn can lead to dangerous driver actions on the road.
