P&C Meetings

The P&C usually meet on the first Monday of each month from 5.00pm at the school. Everyone is welcome to come along!

Pie drive 

Pie drive orders have now closed and it’s been a great success, raising close to $700 profit for our P&C - a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser and gave forms to neighbours and family etc. Pies will be available for collection on Friday 8th August from 2-5pm. Please note this is the same date as PSSA Athletics so please check if this affects pie drive collection plans for you or anyone you know who has placed an order. 

If you have any sturdy boxes / paper grocery bags etc you can spare for us to pack the orders on Friday, please bring them to the school office before Friday 8th August.

Congratulations Elyse! 

The P&C would like to send a massive congratulations to Elyse Swilks who represented North West and Rocky River Public School last week in Sydney at the NSW PSSA Cross Country Championships Multiclass 8/9 year girls. Elyse ran a personal best on the day and placed 5th. This is a great achievement! We heard that Elyse had a great day and really enjoyed herself. 

Friday Special Lunch 

Our new special lunch pricelist is in effect as of this term, thank you for your support. We would love some more helpers on the Friday special lunch roster - it’s a pretty simple process and only takes about 45 mins from 8.45-9.30am with the option to return at lunch time for serving food from 20mins before lunch starts (lunch time varies on Fridays due to offsite sport return times). At the moment the team of parent volunteers are rostered 1-2 weeks per term. If you’d like to come and shadow one of our team this term before deciding whether to go on the roster next term, just let Ali know (0402 281 209) and we can make that happen. 

School Hats New wider brim hats are now available from the school office for $10, in sizes medium and large. The old smaller brim style of hat is still available for now while stocks last. 

Next Meeting 

Our next P&C meeting is on Monday 4th of August at 5pm. This is the same day as the parent teacher interviews - why not make an evening of it and come and join the P&C meeting. All welcome!
