Mother's Day Stall Success

We are delighted to share that the Mother’s Day Stall raised an incredible $3,088.85 for the school this year! This is the largest amount raised since the stall began operating as a team, and it is a fantastic achievement. A huge well done to our dedicated Mother’s Day Stall team.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our GSPV community for your continued support. Your enthusiasm and generosity make events like this possible, with the funds going into projects that directly benefits the students.

As briefly acknowledged at the end of last year, we said farewell to Alix Zeppell, who moved on from the team after many years of consistent and valued contributions. We also recently farewelled Sarah Pound. Over the past 2–3 years, Sarah played a significant role in helping direct and guide the team, while also contributing countless hours of behind-the-scenes work.

Both Alix and Sarah have given so much of their time, energy, and care - always as volunteers alongside their work and family commitments. As a team, we sincerely thank them both for their dedication and lasting impact.

Finally, we acknowledge and thank our wonderful Mother’s Day Stall team:

  • Jodi Quast
  • Kim Crane-Noonan
  • Alana Siedel
  • Michelle Muggleton
  • Rachael Richards
  • Troy Richards
  • Simone Porcaro

Thank you all for making the Mother’s Day Stall such a success!

KAPS - Save the date!

Our next get together is just after Week One (next term) Sunday 26th July. We are making pizzas and having a movie afternoon!

Please note the time: 4-7pm (slightly longer to allow time for pizza making, worship and movie!)

Pop it in your diaries now!

JC Life Camp

Gallery Image

Do you like camping and sharing time with other people who like to have fun?

Here’s an idea for the school holidays! This year’s theme is ‘Indescribable’. Junior Christian Life (JC Life) is a four-day, three-night, camp for young people in years 4-6 to meet others and grow in their relationship with God.

Significant sponsorship is offered to first time campers by the LLL. If this is not your first camp, talk to Georgie as there is a smaller sponsorship available. The camp will be at Camp Kedron, Barmera. Pick up a postcard from the front office!

For more information either chat with or contact Georgie here, or check out the camp section on the blueprint ministries website.

Please note: Registrations close 22nd June!

Coffee and Connect

How has your week been?

Any highs? Any lows?

If you have a few minutes (or a lot of minutes) and you feel like meeting some people or reuniting with friends, you are most welcome to pop into the Church Café tomorrow morning and share some tea/ coffee and conversation.

Where: Church Café (entry through the courtyard)

When: Friday from 8:30am to 10am

Toddlers are welcome! (We have a small playground. You just need to keep an eye on your little ones(s) for safety reasons.) Look forward to seeing you in the morning!

Can you help?

We have continued to be blessed to have a couple people from our school family step up to serve tea and coffee before and after our Wednesday Worship (Chapel)...

I am very grateful for this, however, I would dearly appreciate hearing from some others who might be able to help serve in this way. This small and gracious gesture is just one way that we ‘do life’ together as a Good Shepherd Family... and having something warm to hold on these cool mornings is extra nice!

If this is you, please come and have a chat (over a coffee perhaps) or email me (Georgie) here.
