Road Safety Incursion
On July, 15 and 16 our Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students were visited by Lottie from Knox Council to learn about road safety.
Lottie was a hit at our school crossing each morning, where she welcomed students as they arrived at school. During her visit, she taught students the importance of crossing the road safely using the 'Stop, Look, Listen and Think' approach.
Students thoroughly enjoyed interacting with Lottie and had the opportunity to practise these important road safety skills at a pretend pedestrian crossing. It was a fun and engaging learning experience that reinforced safe habits for travelling to and from school.
