Diocesan Sport News
Congratulations to Gus, Piper, Stella, Alfie, Charlie S, Dexter, Georgie, Nahla, Jack, and Walter who competed at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival last Friday. There was plenty to celebrate, with many placing in their heats and setting new PB's. We are so proud of the way you swam your best and cheered for your teammates. Well done kids!

Goodluck to the following children who are representing our school at the Diocesan Winter Trials today. Cooper, Jax and Gus are trialing for the Diocesan Rugby League team and Makenna, Lucas, Preston and Stella are trialing for the Diocesan Soccer teams. These trials are only open to children who are proficient in these sports and from yr 5 & 6.

PE
Tennis
The children are really enjoying the experience and are showing improvement, one swing at a time. Tom from the Northwest Tennis Academy is an excellent coach and always has fun drills and games to keep everyone moving and engaged. Two weeks of tennis to go and then we begin Cross Country training (hopefully the weather is cooler by then!).

Hockey Competition
On Monday, two teams from our school will play Hockey at Tamworth in a 3 week comp. The teams have been training hard in their lunch breaks and after school. We wish them luck and congratulate them for giving it a try, for most, this is their first time playing competitive Hockey. Thank you to the parents for helping with training and travelling, especially to Helena, our resident National Hockey Champion!
They play Monday evenings at the Tamworth Regional Hockey Centre @ 5-6pm if anyone happens to be in Tamworth and would like to come and cheer them on!
