Alma Mater
Submissions are now open for the July 2024 edition
At St Mary's College, we are incredibly proud of our alumni. We love showcasing and celebrating your achievements with the College community and sharing what you have been up to since hanging up your school uniform for the last time.
If you have a success story to share, or if you know of inspiring alumni who may like to feature in the College's twice-yearly Alma Mater magazine, we encourage you to get in touch.
From personal and professional triumphs, exciting career opportunities or highlights since graduating from the College, including the completion of university studies—we want to hear from you, at every stage of your life!
And whether your contribution feels big or small to you, we like to celebrate the fact that you are in some way making a mark in your communities and industries.
Please contact Community Relations at communications@smc.tas.edu.au with any content that may be suitable to feature by Thursday 9 May.
Alumna strikes gold at rowing nationals
Congratulations to Sophie Robinson (class of 2020) for placing 1st in the U23 LW Women's Single Scull at the Australian Rowing Championships—for the second consecutive year!
Sophie is an inspirational athlete and a fantastic ambassador of the sport, and the College is so pleased to see her rewarded for her hard work and sacrifices.
Congratulations also must go to Phoebe Teale (class of 2021) who placed 8th in the same race, representing Sydney University, making it her 8th overall nationally.
