Update from our OT Students:

Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) at Naranga

Every Friday at Naranga, Bosco and I (Bek), along with our incredible Therapy Assistant Jordan, run the Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) with PLC1 and PLC2. PMP is a movement-based program designed to help children develop their awareness of how to move safely and confidently within their environment.

To support this, we create a fun and engaging obstacle course filled with activities that build up core skills such as eye-hand and eye-foot coordination, balance, body awareness, locomotion, visual tracking, concentration, and attention, while encouraging students to try new things and build their confidence!

This term is particularly exciting, as it’s the first time we’ve been able to transition into the new school gym. The new space has provided an ideal environment to enhance participation

and engagement in PMP. We’re loving it and so are the students!
