Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander University Guide
Career Tools has released an excellent guide covering:

The guide includes opportunities at universities such as Melbourne, Monash, RMIT, Deakin, ACU, ANU and many more.

Latrobe University RISE Program
National Indigenous Business Summer School
Applications are now open for the upcoming National Indigenous Business Summer School (NIBSS) Program, taking place from 17 - 22 January 2027.
NIBSS is an exciting week-long program developed for Indigenous high school students entering Years 11 and 12 in 2027 who are thinking about studying business, starting their own business, becoming an entrepreneur or are simply curious about university study. A full program of activities is organised across University campuses and iconic Melbourne venues, including; the University of Melbourne, Monash University, Swinburne University, Melbourne Park (AO) and the Melbourne Museum.
All students are supported throughout the week by our Indigenous mentors and staff.
All expenses of the program are covered, including travel/flights, accommodation, meals, activities, celebration gala dinner, program merch and more!

Who can apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Be commencing Year 11 or 12 in 2027
- Be completing a Math subject/s in Year 11 and/or Year 12
- Display a genuine interest in studying at university
How to apply?
The following forms need to be completed for the applicant to be considered:
- The applicant must complete the Student Application Form
- A School Teacher must complete the Student Recommendation Form
- A Parent/Guardian/Carer must complete the Parental Consent Form
All forms listed above must be completed by the application closing date to be considered for a place in the program.
Applications close at midnight Sunday 1 November 2026.
