Enrolments are open for free 3 and 4 year old sessional kindergarten.

Enrol through Casey Council for Hillsmeade Kindergarten.

Long Day Care enrolments with kindergarten is through the ELC office.

During this fortnight in the 3 and 4 year old kindergarten, the children have been undertaking learning in the following areas:

Reading	Making meaning of books through small world play Identifying their name when locating lockers and belongings
Writing	Children practicing pincer and pencil grips when drawing and painting. Strengthening fine motor muscles using tongs and playdough
STEM	Engaging in colour sorting Colour mixing with primary colours. Ephemeral art
Inquiry	Exploring the Unit of Inquiry: Healthy choices, Healthy me through group time conversations; Sun smart, exercise, rest, and food choices. Learning about our friends by reading About Me Profiles
Social & emotional learning	Children continue to settle into their new kindergarten groups and build connections with their peers and educators. Children are beginning to understand their routines with visual aids. Zones of regulation and classroom agreements are being introduced and learned.
