Year 5 Blue challenged us to think like persuasive writers during their chapel presentation on building strong arguments. Through a series of entertaining skits and examples, the students showed the difference between an argument that goes nowhere and one that uses reasons, evidence and respectful discussion to make a point.

The class confidently shared their persuasive writing and had the audience listening closely for convincing arguments. By the end, we had all learned that a good argument isn't about winning; it's about communicating ideas clearly, thoughtfully and respectfully.

Great job, 5 Blue!

This week, our Year 6 students embarked on an exciting and educational trip to Canberra. The excursion provided students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Australia's history, government and democracy through a range of engaging and memorable experiences.

Beyond the educational opportunities, the Canberra excursion provided students with valuable experiences in independence, responsibility, and teamwork. As they represented our school with maturity, respect and enthusiasm throughout the week, they earned praise from staff and members of the public alike. It was a wonderful opportunity for learning beyond the classroom, and we are confident the knowledge, memories and experiences gained will remain with them for years to come.
