Stage 6 Movieworld Excursion

Our Stage 6 students enjoyed a day at Movieworld having fun mixed with learning as they investigated the business evolution of Village Roadshow, analysed the physics of rollercoasters and explored real world Mathematics!

CIC Social Innovators

Our students participated in the Crazy Ideas College Social Innovators Programme over two days this week, tackling real-world challenges, navigating the complexities of social enterprise and community enrichment in a high-impact "design thinking" intensive sponsored by Ballina Shire Council.

Jonah Golfing Success

Year 9 student Jonah competed in the 2026 Regional Academy Games representing the North Coast Academy of Sport for Golf in Tamworth over the holidays. There were nearly 1,000 athletes from 12 regions from NSW competing across 6 sports for kids aged 12 – 17 years – Golf being one of them. He played great for 3 days and won the Boys Individual Nett. Jonah was selected for the final match play event on the last day and the North Coast narrowly lost the final to Sydney Metro North.  Prior to that he placed second on a count back in Junior events at Emerald Lakes and Ocean Shores and scored a coveted hole in one at Teven Golf Course in March.  Jonah now plays off a handicap of 6.8.
