Students in Stage 2 have been very busy studying various different topics this term.

 In English, students learned how to write poetry in different forms including acrostic, shape, haiku, cinquain, diamante and limerick poems. Students experimented with different poetry structures and rhyme and parts of language associated with each poetry form. 

In Religion, students have been learning about how the disciples were filled with courage by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. They then researched the lives of saints who also displayed courage in their life and work. Students studied a range of Catholic Saints including St Patrick, St Vincent de Paul and our newest saint St Carlo Acutis. 

In History this term, students have been studying about celebrations and how other countries and cultures celebrate special occasions. Students researched about celebrations including Easter, Christmas, Diwali, Hanukkah, May Day & Chinese New Year.
