PRAYER
Lord Jesus Christ,
your heart broke open with such a depth of love
that you gave your very life for your people.
May we love others as you have loved us.
Gentle our hearts so that we, too, may bring Life to the world.
We ask this prayer in the Spirit of your love.
Amen.
From the Principal
Dear Families,
Yesterday was the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a time when we are reminded of Jesus’ love for all.
"Jesus knew and loved us each and all during his life, his agony and his Passion, and gave himself up for each one of us: "The Son of God. . . loved me and gave himself for me" (Gal 2:20). He has loved us all with a human heart.
As we follow in the footsteps of Jesus and show our love for those in our community, we invite all families to contribute a donation of non‑perishable food for the St Vincent de Paul Society. Your generosity will help bring warmth and comfort to individuals and families who need a helping hand.
We welcome donations such as rice, pasta, long‑life milk, and tinned goods between now and the school holidays. Items can be dropped off at the office or placed in classrooms.
Thank you for supporting our school’s ongoing commitment to compassion, service, and care for others.
Semester One Reporting
As previously advised, teachers are currently writing Semester One reports. There is a change in the date of publishing on PAM to Tuesday 23 June. You will be able to discuss your child’s progress and future learning at parent/teacher interviews on Wednesday 24 June.
School Assembly
There is no school assembly this Friday. Our school has the privilege of hosting the East Central Principal Network meeting and sponsor day, welcoming principals from local Catholic schools into our community. We will be gathering in the library for our term meeting, while representatives from a range of educational providers will be setting up their displays in the hall. This is a wonderful opportunity for our school to showcase the vibrant community spirit we’re so proud of. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support. We look forward to seeing everyone back at assembly next week.
2027 Enrolments
Enrolments are now open for 2027. Enrolment forms are available via email or from the office for families of children who will be commencing school next year.
Warm regards,
Michelle Worcester
Principal

Tuck Shop
Sticky Beak Lunch wallets now available to purchase from the office
Cost $15.00 each
"We would love to welcome all the new families starting at St Philips this year. Our Tuck shop is a highlight of the week for the children. They love seeing their parents during lunchtime counter sales! Lunch orders are taken in the morning and delivered to classrooms ready for lunch time. Over lunch time, we have snacks and treats available for sale over the counter. If you are able to spare 1 or 2 sessions per term to volunteer, we would love to hear from you! Full training will be provided. Each volunteer session is from 11:30 - 2.30pm, working in a pair. See below for contact details.
Tuckshop is open every Friday, we are very fortunate to have our tuckshop run by parent volunteers for the students enjoyment. This would not be possible without our small team of committed volunteers showing up week after week.
Please reach out to Clara on 0449 767 020 or Angi on 0431 021 711 if you can help. We appreciate your support.
How to submit a lunch order:
1. Purchase a lunch bag (sticky beaks bag) from the office or provide a paper bag.
2. Write your lunch order on the bag label or paper bag, along with the cost - refer to the latest tuckshop menu
3. Please include cash for the order- exact change is appreciated.
Don't forget to send some extra money if your child wants to order a snack over the counter at lunchtime!
