Future of Work @ Wyndham Tech

Monday 17th February, year 7 students currently studying Digital Technologies attended the Future of Work program at Wyndham Tech. They worked together to design robots to complete tasks with Spheros and Lego Spike, created 3D office spaces in CAD and then built games in Unreal Engine. 

First Aid Course 

Our Year 12s, plus a handful of year 11s, have been working through their First Aid course during Personal Development sessions. All students are engaging with the course well. Here they are working through DRABCD

Holocaust Museum 

Our Year 9 Students visited the Melbourne Holocaust Museum for the "In Touch with Memory" educational experience.  Our students had the very special opportunity to meet and listen to the story of a Holocaust survivor.

Earth Science

Year 10 Earth Science class went to Ballarat to study Plate Tectonics. They retro fitted buildings to  make them earthquake proof and investigated earthquake prediction challenges.  

This week Year 8 students have been dissecting hearts as part of their unit on Body Systems.
