The University of WA

More Pathways. More Possibilities.

Students applying for bachelor’s degrees through Experience-based Entry can now also qualify through STAT and university enabling programs. This applies to the following courses:

What is Experienced-based Entry?

For students not doing ATAR or not meeting the ATAR pathway entry requirements, UWA’s Experience-based entry can turn life experience into something life-changing. It means students can apply using a combination of their academic background and life experience — including school, TAFE, work, volunteering or sport.

Murdoch University

Brighter Futures Scholarship

Each School in WA has been allocated one scholarship to award to a current Yr12 who is a domestic student and has demonstrated leadership resulting in positive change in their school or in the wider community that aligns with one of Murdoch University’s key strategic themes: Sustainability; or Equity, Diversity and Inclusion; or First Nations leadership.

This year we are encouraging schools to nominate up to two students, to accommodate additional awardees where we have excess funding left over from schools who do not nominate. We will allocate these additional scholarships where possible as part of a 2nd round of scholarship offers.

Each nomination requires a short statement from the student outlining what they have done, their motivation for doing so, and the impact it has had, as well as a supporting statement from the School.

The recipient can receive the Scholarship while studying any undergraduate degree course at Murdoch University, and your Year 12 nominee can be on any pathway that will meet a selection rank of 70 (eg: ATAR, IB, CertIV, Experience Based Entry, Creative Media Portfolio, IBPLC, University Enabling Program).
