TODD WOODBRIDGE CUP REGIONAL FINALS
Well done to the 16 students from Stage 2 and Stage 3 who competed at the Todd Woodbridge Cup Regional Finals in Gunnedah at the end of last Term. Both teams played extremely well, participating in a combination of singles, doubles and mixed games against schools from Gunnedah, Tamworth, Armidale and Warialda.
The players were tasked with scoring their own games. It was great to see such positive teamwork and fairness from all teams to determine each point!! Congratulations to the Stage 3 team who placed runner up on the day!
DIOCESAN GALA DAY
What a huge day for the 57 students from Stage 2 and Stage 3 who travelled to Tamworth to compete at the Diocesan Gala Day on Friday 15th September. We entered four netball teams and two soccer teams. Each team played in a round robin competition for a place in the finals.
The netballers played eight minute halves using fast feet and quick passes. Out of a total
of 45 netball teams, the Stage 2 Diamonds made it to the final rounds!
The soccer players were on the field for the entirety of each game and demonstrated resilience and a “never give up” attitude against some very competitive teams!!
Well done to all our students for their determination and hard work on the day.

NETBALL SCHOOLS CUP REGIONAL FINALS
Our Stage 3 Netball team who competed at the Netball Schools Cup in Term 1, went on to participate at the Netball Schools Cup Regional Finals in Tamworth on Wednesday 20th September. The team had a fantastic day, with some students even trying their hand at umpiring on the day. Well done team!

POLDING ATHLETICS CARNVIAL
Good luck to Callum O'Neill and Chelsea Henry who are representing the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Athletics Carnival this Friday at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre.
