What does the Catholic School Advisory Council do?

Catholic School Advisory Councils meet once a Term to advise Parish Priests and Principals with pastoral leadership and leadership responsibility in Catholic systemic schools.   School Advisory Council members:

· value and respect the Catholic identity of the school, its relationship to the parish community and the expression of its ethos through rituals, traditions, symbols and the teaching of Catholic beliefs

· act as role models within the school community by reflecting the values and ethos of the school

· work collaboratively with the Parish Priest, the Principal and the wider school community

· build and nurture a sense of community

ALLERGY AWARE

A friendly reminder that St Francis Xavier's School is an allergy aware school.

This means that we aim to create a safe environment for our students with allergies and request that our families are mindful of the foods being packed in their child's lunchbox.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
