Religious Education

Hello families! My name is Sarah Notaro and I am thrilled to be the new Religious Education Leader this year at St Anne’s. I hope to serve the students and staff to grow closer to Jesus and the saints and integrate our beautiful Catholic faith in their everyday lives. 

We have started our year inspired by Psalm 46, ‘Be Still and Know that I am God’ so that we can build our relationship with God through prayer by first listening and then speaking. At home, remind your children that God always has time for them, 24 hours a day.  Encourage stillness. He uses a secret language - the language of the heart. Set your heart to “receive!” 

The saints drew their strength by remaining close to God and we will use them as our role models this year as we explore the question ‘What kind of saint is God calling me to be?’
