CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY

On Monday, we held our annual Celebration Assembly, a joyous event well-attended by many parents from our community. We warmly welcomed Mrs Daniel, Mr Abbey from the Lion's Club and Mrs Price and Mr Dawson from the Pettet Foundation.

During this assembly, we awarded our perpetual awards to students in years three and four. Congratulations to the following students  who received the awards:

Mrs Daniel's Literacy Award: Angela M

Lions Club Environmental Citizen Award: Rosie R

The Year 6 Leadership Teams for 2025 were officially introduced, creating a special moment as our current Year 6 Leaders shared their experiences, reflected on their roles, and extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed members of the 2025 Leadership Teams.

A special congratulations to Aditi K and Luca S on being elected as our 2025 School Captains and to Juliette D and Beau D on being elected as our School Vice Captains.

AFTERNOON TEA

Our staff deeply value the involvement of parents and the wider community in enriching our students' school experience. We have so many parents and grandparents who have helped with classroom activities, book club, excursions, camps, sporting events, bike education, working bees and PA activities.

To express our heartfelt gratitude, we warmly invite you to join us for Afternoon Tea on Tuesday, December 17, at 3:45 pm in the Arts Centre, following the 'Meet the Teacher' session.

Please save the date, we look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you.

STAFFING NEWS

Next year, Miss Young will embark on an exciting overseas adventure and will not return to POPS in a full-time classroom role. However, she will continue supporting our school community as a CRT (Casual Relief Teacher) when she’s not travelling and exploring the world. We thank Miss Young for her excellent work in 5Y this year and wish her all the best.
