No school this Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th

A reminder to all families that this Monday 4th November is a Student Free Day, and Tuesday 5th November is a Public Holiday for Melbourne Cup Day.

Students will not be attending school on these days.

Organisation for 2025

Staff have been very busy organising classes for 2025. We take a number of factors into consideration including positive pairings of students by asking students who they work well with and other factors such as needs of individual students.

If you think there is something you would like us to take into consideration when placing your child in a class, please contact your Unit Leader, Kylie, Jo, Andrew or Kayla, so they can take this into consideration.

National Water Week Awards

Goulburn Valley Water celebrated National Water Week with “A Watery Adventure” competition, engaging 5,000 primary school students across the region.

Participants created imaginative story books featuring Drippy, a water droplet journeying through the water cycle. With 40 schools involved, students showcased their creativity in both storytelling and illustration.

Congratulations to our own Damian Peterson for receiving an award for his story, The Sailor's Treasure! The story is about a pirate who sails away and finds a treasure chest on a deserted island. Damian won the Inclusive section.

Damian’s book was published, with copies being given to the GV Library, Verney Road School library and kindergartens within the catchment. A digital copy of Damian’s story was made, with Damian as the narrator.

Damo won a gift voucher to JB HiFi and a carry bag with fabric markers to decorate it with.

School Build Update

Have you been for a drive past our soon to be new campus on Parkside Drive lately?

It is a hive of activity and is looking magnificent! We can't wait to be moving in - hopefully very soon!

Athletics Day

Today we held our annual Senior, Upper Middle & Lower Middle Years Athletics Day.

It was a fantastic day of fun and participation for all students. A big thank you to Matthew Gill for organising another successful event.
