NSWPSSA Athletics Carnival
Yesterday and today, Jessica and Josie represented Polding at the NSWPSSA Athletics Carnival held in Sydney. They competed against the top athletes from various public, independent, and Catholic schools throughout New South Wales. Josie came 10th overall in the Junior Girls Discus with a distance of 26.95m.
Jessica came 20th overall in the 11 Years Girls 1500m and 18th in the 800m. Congratulations girls, all of us are proud of what both of you have accomplished.
Term 4 Aquatics Program
We have been very lucky to obtain another Sporting Schools Grant for this term and the money will be going toward our annual Aquatics Program that will be held daily throughout Week 9 (2nd-6th December). The team from High Country Swimming will be leading this program. More information will be released later this term.
Term 4 Sporting Events
*Monday 2nd to Friday 6th December: St Patrick's Aquatics Program
St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook
St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
Attached below is the revised version of this manual, which now contains the latest information on Jessica's and Josie's records at the athletics carnival.
