Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome. St Joseph’s is a special community with wonderful children and families, and I’m thrilled at what the future will bring. I will be at the Meet & Greet and picnic this Thursday so please come say hello... if anyone can suggest a good place to grab dinner, please let me know!  

Swimming: I am very excited to announce that we are bringing back a St Joseph’s swim carnival on Feb 20th. Families are invited and will be asked to sign in at the front on arrival. Swimming sessions will also take place next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Feb 16-18). Information about this will be emailed out later in the week.  

Open Day: Our first Open Day will be next Thursday, February the 19th from 9-10:30am. Please spread the word to anyone who may be interested in St Joseph’s now or for the future that all are welcome.  

Advisory Council: Our first Advisory Council Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Monday 23rd February. We invite you to come along to find out more about this group. You may wish to attend just the one meeting, or with a view to becoming a part of the school Council.   

Speech Pathologist: We are incredibly fortunate to have support and services from CES speech pathologist Lauren Naish again this year. She has noted that at times throughout the year there may be tertiary speech students working under her supervision. If you have concerns or would like to opt out of tertiary students working with your child this year, please let me know.  

Book Club: Closes Monday 16th February 2026.

Icy poles: Icy poles will be available for purchase Friday lunchtime for .50c. This is a fundraiser by the Mary & Brigid Group for charity.
