A message from Mr Gallagher

Welcome to the 2026 School Year

The start of a new school year is always an exciting time, and it has been wonderful to see our school come back to life after the summer break. I hope all families enjoyed time together over the holidays and that students returned refreshed and ready for the year ahead.

We are very pleased to welcome a number of new students and families to our school community in 2026. In particular, our Foundation students have settled in beautifully, quickly learning school routines, building friendships, and confidently navigating their new environment. It has been a joy to see their enthusiasm and curiosity during these early weeks, and I look forward to watching them continue to grow as the year unfolds.

Over the first week of school, I spent time visiting classrooms to reinforce two simple messages that sit at the heart of our school culture: always be your best and treat others with kindness. When these values guide our actions each day, they help create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment for everyone.

I would also like to thank the many parents and carers who attended our recent Meet the Teacher interviews. These early conversations play an important role in building strong partnerships between home and school, and we value the opportunity to work closely together to support each child’s learning and wellbeing.

I wish all members of our school community a positive and rewarding year ahead and look forward to the many opportunities 2026 will bring.
