End-of-Year Thank You Message 

As we come to the close of another fantastic school year, the Parents & Friends Club would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our wonderful school community — parents, students, guardians, families, and friends. Your enthusiasm, participation, and support have helped make this year truly special. Whether you volunteered your time, attended events, or simply shared in the excitement, you played an important part in creating joyful memories for our children and strengthening our community spirit.

We would also like to express our deep appreciation to the School Council, teachers, non-teaching staff members, and the Principal team for their continued support, guidance, and collaboration throughout the year. Your encouragement and commitment make it possible for our initiatives to thrive.

This year, our children especially enjoyed many much-loved PFC events, including the Welcome Event, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations, the School Disco, Pink Stumps Day, Ride2School Day and the School Carnival. Seeing the smiles, laughter and sense of belonging at these events reminds us why they are so meaningful.

A very special thank you goes to the dedicated volunteers who run the Secondhand Uniform Stall each term. Your ongoing efforts provide an invaluable service to families and are greatly appreciated by the entire school community.

As we look ahead, we warmly invite more members of our community to get involved. These activities would not be possible without the generosity of our volunteers, and every contribution — big or small — truly makes a difference. We welcome your support in any way and form you are able.

We are also excited to share that next year’s Welcome Event will be held on 27 February. Please keep an eye out for more details in the new year — we look forward to welcoming families back and starting another great year together.

Secondhand Uniform & Lost Property 

Thank you everyone for your contributions to the success of the secondhand uniform fundraising by the PFC for our school. 

There are a team of people to thank that have helped during the year to assist in reuniting named lost items of clothing with their owners. This team includes Alison, Elima, Carly, Kat, Niki and many others, 

Last Friday, with Alison and Kat running the stall, we held our second donation day for the term and we also sold $300 worth of secondhand uniform. 

We are always grateful for your donations of good quality, clean items with the current EHPS logo uniform (PSW or Spartan School World brands) and in good saleable condition. However if the items are not of a quality that you would purchase again (i.e. dirty/stained or torn), please reconsider sending it and deliver these items to a rag bin so we’re not wasting our time collating and sorting unsaleable uniform items. 

All the lost property bins were emptied last Friday, and all named items have been returned to students this week. Unnamed items were returned to the bins for collection. Uncollected items will be considered donations and available for sale at the next secondhand uniform sale in Term 1 next year. 

I hope that someone will take on the role of secondhand uniform coordinator next year and feel the connection to the EHPS community that I’m sad to be leaving.
