Bon Voyage, Robyn

At the end of Term 1, we said a fond farewell to our longest-serving staff member, Mrs Robyn Sutherland. Robyn began her career here in October 1977, shortly after graduating from Beaufort High School. Aside from a two-year adventure living in Canada, she has been a dedicated presence in our school community, giving an incredible 45 years of service.

Although primarily based in the General Office, she has long assisted in the Science Department, setting up many practical experiments over the years. During the nineties, Robyn’s two sons, Tim and Andrew, also attended the college.

Over the years, Robyn and husband, Tony, have travelled extensively, and plan to continue to expand their travel portfolio now they have reached retirement. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the contribution Robyn has made to the school and its community over the years. We hope retirement serves her well and that she thoroughly enjoys having some time to herself.
