Charles Sturt University
Charles Sturt Advantage (Early Offer Program) opens 1 May – Year 12 students can apply online via the simple process which asks they attach a PDF of Year 11 results and answer three questions relating to soft skills – things like motivation, empathy and resilience. Curtin University Medicine Casper Requirement
If any students intend on applying to Curtin University for Medicine this year, apart from the UCAT, applicants will also need to register and complete the Casper Test, which is conducted by Acuity Insights.
- Applicants will be ranked for the interview offer on the basis of their Casper score, UCAT score and ATAR.
- All applicants (other than Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders) must complete the Casper Test.
- School leavers and Curtin Course Switchers must sit the Undergraduate Casper Test. Non-school Leavers (Graduates) will have to sit the Postgraduate Casper Test.
- Casper scores are valid only for the next available admissions year. Applicants should only complete the test in the year immediately preceding their planned year of admission. Applicants re-applying for the Medical Entry in a subsequent year must re-sit the Casper Test.
- The Casper Test is held nationally and is sat online from home.
- Applicants are responsible for making their own arrangements to register for the Casper Test. Please refer to the Acuity Insights website to register for the test.

Deakin University
Deakin Guaranteed ATAR (NEW!) is available for most Deakin undergraduate courses in 2025. This new program will be automatically applied as part of your VTAC Course Application for MSCW students who apply for eligible Deakin Courses. More information here.
Federation University
Dual Electrical Qualifications ProgramEarn while you learn! Combine your A-Grade Electrical Apprenticeship (Certificate III In Electrotechnology – Electrician) and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Information Engineering) (Honours).
As part of a Victorian Government funded project, the Ai Group Centre for Education & Training is partnering with industry, Federation University and NECA Education & Careers to create an electrical dual qualification. The course combines the A-Grade Electrical Apprenticeship (Certificate III In Electrotechnology – Electrician) and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Information Engineering)(Honours) to produce highly skilled, STEM proficient licensed A Grade Electricians – achieving this combined qualification in a six-year timeframe. Pathway Options: VCE students who achieve their ATAR with a study score of at least 20 in any English can use a
Fed Higher Education Diploma to pathway into the second year of a Fed Engineering,
Business, or Information Technology degree.

Higher Education Diploma students benefit from individual learning opportunities through more
one-on-one time with teachers, to build their skills before more independent study in their second year.
Fed is partnering with AusNet to provide $280,000 in scholarships to support the next generation of the renewable energy workforce. Students with an interest in Engineering, Environmental and Conservation Science and STEM courses can access $7,000 of funding every year while they study at Fed. This funding is specifically targeted at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, female STEM students and students from a disadvantaged or low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Latrobe
Aspire Early Entry program applications are now open for our Year 11 Conditional Entry and Community Contribution streams.
Aspire gives students access to an adjusted Aspire ATAR or a La Trobe Entrance Score as an alternative to their ATAR and an early conditional offer for entry.
Depending on their background, students can apply to one or more Aspire programs.
Monash University
Monash has introduced the new four-year, integrated vertical double-degree allowing students to fast-track registration in this growth industry. The Bachelor of Actuarial Science and Master of Actuarial Studies allows students to complete the Foundation Program and the university component of the Actuary Program which is designed to get the maximum number of exemptions within the shortest time. Students cannot practice as an Actuary without meeting the registration requirements of the Actuaries Institute - Becoming an Actuary | Actuaries Institute.

UCAT Update from VTAC
The UCAT ANZ office provides the following information:
Students who are planning to apply to Medicine, Dentistry and Clinical Science degree programmes commencing in 2025 at these universities in Australia and New Zealand must sit the UCAT ANZ 2024 (between 1 July and 9 August 2024).
The UCAT ANZ is a 2-hour, computer-based, multiple choice test. Candidates sit the test at Pearson VUE test centres located in Australia, New Zealand and at many overseas locations. For information about where test centres are offered, see Test Centre Locations.UCAT Eligibility: Candidates registering for UCAT ANZ 2024 should have completed, or plan to complete their final year of secondary schooling in 2024, current Year 12s.
Students in Australian Year 11 or lower are NOT eligible to sit the UCAT ANZ. This includes Year 11 students undertaking one or more Year 12 subjects. Year 12 students completing Year 12 over two years are only eligible to sit the UCAT ANZ in their final year.
Some UCAT ANZ Consortium universities require international students to sit UCAT ANZ. Candidates are advised to check the university websites for further information.Booking UCAT: Bookings are open at the UCAT ANZ website and will close on 17 May 2024 at 11:59pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time). Late registrations are accepted until 31 May 2024 at 11:59pm AEST and incur an additional late fee. No bookings are accepted after the late booking deadline.

Early Entry applications are open now and close 22 July. The UNE Early Entry program has helped thousands of students secure an early guarantee of a university place based on their School’s recommendation rather than an ATAR. UNE courses can be studied online or on campus, part time or full time.

University of Tasmania
University of Tasmania has a Schools Recommendation Program which is a free, early entry program allowing year 12 students the opportunity to apply for up to five courses by the end of June. Instead of solely relying on their ATAR score, their application is assessed based on their school's recommendation, which may take into account their Year 11 results. Offers will be released between September and the end of October, aiming to alleviate some of the pressure on students during their final year of high school. This gives students plenty of time to plan their move to Tasmania and apply for our generous relocation support scholarships.
Please be advised courses in Medical Radiation, Paramedicine, and the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine are not included in this program.
Victoria University
Exciting news for aspiring primary educators – VU now offers a Bachelor of Education (Primary)! This four-year program will give students real work experience through 113 days of supervised teaching practice, starting in the first year with a broad range of study specialisations.
