PATHWAYS FOOD FUNDRAISER FOR THE RSPCA
Students worked hard over the weeks to make the biscuits, decorate them and prepare the food orders. We used a lovely biscuit recipe that is very easy to prepare and makes a large quantity.
BISCUIT DOUGH RECIPE
454 g unsalted butter
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
6 cups of sifted plain flour
2 beaten eggs
2 level teaspoons of baking powder
1 level teaspoon of salt
Method
1. Cream softened butter and sugar together.
Add vanilla essence and mix well.
2. Add beaten eggs into the mixture.
3. Sift one cup of flour at a time, combined with the baking powder and salt until all the flour is well combined into a dough.
4. Roll quantities of dough between two sheets of paper and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Thank you for supporting our fundraiser and trying the biscuits we made.
5. Stamp out biscuits using cutout shapes.
6. Bake biscuit in hot oven, 180C for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges and underside are a golden brown. Cool them on a rack then prepare icing, sprinkles or chocolate melts to decorate.
